"After hearing so many great things about Rick McKay and Johnny Cash Revisited I am totally excited to have the opportunity to work on stage with them during our U.K. tour in May 2016. Rick and the band are doing an excellent job of keeping Johnny Cash's music alive and well in the U.K. and for that we are grateful"
WS "Fluke" Holland. Drummer with Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Three 1960 -1997

“The attention to detail is striking. I would recommend Johnny Cash Revisited to anyone from die hard old Johnny Cash fans, to newcomers who want to hear the real deal.”
Dave Roe: Bassist with Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Three – 1991-2003

"Rick McKay channels Cash. His imitation is perfect. And I don’t mean that he sounds ‘like Johnny Cash’. I closed my eyes and listened, and I thought ‘That’s Johnny Cash’. End of. He’s that good."

Neil Madden: Reviewer at The Beehive, Honiton

“I’ve played behind several Johnny Cash inspired tribute singers, including a personal friend of the great man, and also was privileged to play behind JC’s younger brother, Tommy Cash, but I’ve never heard ANYONE capture the actual vocal sound of Johnny Cash quite as well as Rick McKay. It’s uncanny. Good luck with it!”

Ron Sawyers:

“I first booked Rick about seventeen or eighteen years ago just after he returned from performing in the states. I rated him then and, over the years, that has not changed. The show, Johnny Cash Revisited, he has put together is absolutely ace. The attention to detail throughout, and the amount of numbers crammed into this two-hour show is exceptional. This is a must see show for any Johnny Cash fan, and having said that, every country music fan would thoroughly enjoy the evening, Cash fan or not !
Starkville City provide the backing and more, a couple of numbers from them got the audience foot tapping, great to see double bass in the lineup. Last but not least, the lovely little one, Rick's real life wife Jodie, who guested last night at the Beehive as June Carter Cash with some lovely vocals to compliment Rick.
Sunday night, not always the best of nights for events like this, so playing to a full auditorium that buzzed all evening, with some participation and lots of applause from everyone after every number. kind of says it all.
A wonderful night out and a real must see show.
Thank you, Rick, Jodie and Starkville City for a stonkingly brilliant
